In the spirit of community participation in news and current events, we are opening the ShorelineAreaNews to comments from our readers.

We encourage the thoughtful sharing of information and ideas. We expect comments to be civil and respectful, with no personal attacks or offensive language. We reserve the right to delete any comment. In other words, please be polite and use common sense.

That said, we'd love to hear your opinions on local news stories, and feedback on how we can best serve the Shoreline and Lake Forest Park areas.

Thank you for making the comment feature available to your readers. It makes this blog all the more valuable allowing a back and forth discussion on matters of importance. It can possibly help clarify issues and can turn readers into participants.

This is great! When I described the Shoreine Area News as a "blog," several people said "No, you can post comments on real blogs!" So, now SAN has "graduated" to a "real blog!" Bravo!
